Prayer of the Faithful

The Prayer of the Faithful.

Sunday 1st November 2020

Solemnity of All Saints

As God has lavished his love on us as his children, let us pray in communion with the saints in heaven for all our needs.

Let us pray for the church -that all the faithful might hunger and thirst for what is right.

We pray for all those in government and in positions of leadership – that they might make wise decisions in purity of heart.

For refugees, migrants and all those who are persecuted or suffering for their faith, we pray to the Lord.

We pray for the unity of our own parish community at this time and also for the parish of Saint Luke and Saint Teresa at Wincanton – that they like the saints might be filled with faith and light.

Let us turn to Mary as we pray for our own needs and those of all the world as we say ‘Hail Mary…

Father, we offer our prayers to you in union with all your saints and pray that we might one day be with them in your kingdom. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
