Many parishioners have been asking how they can continue to support our parish financially in the absence of the weekly offering. I certainly am very grateful to them, and to all of you who have continued to support the parish at this time; I know at personal cost to yourselves. Unfortunately, at this time the parish does indeed need financial support and if you can help out in any way please see below. There are several options to be found there, and once again thank you for your support, it is invaluable!
Standing Order / Direct Debit
To set-up a Standing Order or Direct Debit to the parish, both Gift Aid and non-Gift Aid, please use the link below to email Albert Pace our Parish Treasurer. He will then send you the correct form to complete and return to him.
Any cheques should be made payable to “Saint Edmund’s Church”.
Cheques can be sent by post to the parish, or put through the letter box at
Saint Edmund’s Church
65 Oxford Road
Donations via PayPal can be Gift Aided like any other donation – PayPal will make the claim and the funds will be paid over to the parish.
Some parishioners have asked how they can make the usual ‘Easter Offering’ to the Parish Priest. Father Vincent reports that such an offering can be made at a special collection to be held once public Masses are celebrated again.
Please note that during the period the church is closed the monthly 100 club draw has been suspended. Prize money due will be held over until such time as monthly draws can recommence.
The Lenten Challenge purple envelopes with donations for our Parish Project will be collected once public Masses are celebrated again.
