There are usually two parish Masses celebrated each weekend at Saint Edmund’s Church.
Please note that in the light of the current COVID-19 Pandemic there are at present no public acts of worship which includes all Masses.
Saturday at 6.00.p.m.
Sunday at 11.00.a.m.
The times of weekday Masses varies from week to week. Times for the current week can be found in the current newsletter which is here.
The Saturday evening Mass is celebrated without music or singing.
The Sunday morning Mass is celebrated with music and singing, and refreshments are served after this Mass each Sunday in the parish hall adjacent to the church.
There is a Children’s Liturgy of the Word at the Sunday morning Mass on the first and third Sunday of each month.
Very many families with young children attend the Sunday morning Mass and there is a selection of books suitable for young children to use during Mass available in the church porch. Families with young children and babies are very welcome, but if parents are concerned about a young child or baby disturbing others the porch is available to use. There are glass doors to the church and the Mass can be heard through the sound system. There are also ‘play bags’ for young children in the porch.
