Easter message

Dear parishioners,

A happy and holy Easter to you all and your families. In this difficult time, I want you to know that I remember you all in my prayers and at each daily Mass. Please remember me and each other in your prayers.

This Easter season reminds us that life, goodness, joy and hope will triumph over hardship, suffering, and sadness.

Let us pray for all those who suffer the consequences of the current pandemic, that God the Father may grant health to the sick, strength to those who care for them, comfort to families and salvation to all the victims who have died.

Let us keep a place for Christ in our lives, let us care for one another and let us be loving custodians of creation.
Let us read the Gospel, a small section each day. This way we will learn what is most essential in our lives: love and mercy.

Please remember that although our normal everyday routine may be upset, we can still proclaim the Gospel by being instruments of peace, of joy, of faith and love.

It will be no surprise to you that during this period of no public Masses our parish, like many of you, is starting to experience some financial hardships. Please check this website next weekend when information will be posted about how those that are able can make an extra financial contribution to the parish.

May God watch over every one of us and remind us that He is near. May God bless and keep you. May the Lord let His face shine upon you and be gracious to you and bring you His peace.

Father Vincent
