Patrick (Paddy) Auger was a parishioner of Saint Edmund’s in the 1980s, living in Calne and working as an accountant.
He studied at The Pontifical Beda College in Rome and was ordained a deacon at the Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls in Rome on 7th June 1991, prior to being ordained as a priest here at Saint Edmund’s on 26th June 1992 by Bishop Mervyn Alexander.
After a period of illness Father Patrick Auger, as Parish Priest of the church of The English Martyrs, Chard, Somerset, died on 31st October 2013.
