The Big Picture

‘The Big Picture’ is a course prepared by CaFE (Catholic Faith Exploration), intended for adults looking at the Bible and the history of salvation.
It runs over 13 weeks and uses a specially prepared book and DVD episodes filmed in the Holy Land.
The course runs as a parish cafe-style evening, held each Monday at Saint Edmund’s School where at each session participants meet in relaxed small groups to discuss the week’s theme, and a DVD episode is shown. Refreshments are provided and each weekly session lasts just over an hour.
Each session includes an informative overview of the topic followed by a 15 minute DVD presentation from amazing speakers filmed around the biblical world.
The Big Picture journal book which is provided to all participants gives 6 daily Bible reflections and questions for people to prayerfully ponder before meeting with a sharing group.
